Registration open for annual scaffold conference and exhibition

Registration is officially open for this year’s Scaffold & Access Industry Association Annual Convention & Exposition. Set for Sept. 30-Oct. 4 in Denver at the Hyatt Regency Denver, the event brings together the largest gathering of scaffold and access industry professionals. Scaffold training available during the Convention & ExpoTraining is an essential element of the SAIA Annual Convention & Exposition, and for anyone looking to take care of requirements needed to meet for educational, certification or compliance purposes, the following courses will be available to take in Denver. TRAIN THE TRAINER FACILITATOR SKILLS WORKSHOP Monday, September 30th | 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. COMPETENT PERSON TRAINING – FRAME SCAFFOLD Tuesday, October 1 | 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. COMPETENT PERSON TRAINING – SYSTEM SCAFFOLD Tuesday, October 1| 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Course Fee: $350 member | $450 non member COMPETENT PERSON TRAINING – SUSPENDED SCAFFOLD Tuesday, October 1 | 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. |
This yearly event features industry-focused educational sessions and showcases the nation’s top scaffold and access exhibitors (see photo for floorplan and full list,) while also offering training and certification, a golf tournament, networking events and an awards ceremony. Networking with peers and SAIA leadership is another key component of the SAIA Annual Convention & Exposition, and several programming elements have been built into the schedule to foster this important and valuable relationship building. The SAIA Café provides the optimal space for attendees to casually gather between sessions, take a meeting, or catch up with friends!
Evening receptions give attendees a chance to kick back after a long day of work to enjoy food, drink, entertainment, and camaraderie with each other in an informal setting.
Awarding the industry’s best
The Scaffold & Access Industry Association also celebrates the best of the best with its Member and Project Awards ceremony during the President’s Gala Dinner, which will be held on Oct. 3.
The awards recognize SAIA member companies that have gone above and beyond in contributing to the overall success of a project within the scaffold and access industry.
Winners will be announced at the Presidents Gala & Award ceremony during the SAIA Annual Convention & Exposition in Denver. Winners will also be featured in SA Magazine, receive recognition on the SAIA website, LinkedIn and SAIA Membership Directory. They will also be displayed on signage in the SAIA booth at World of Concrete, Committee Week and Annual Convention & Exposition. Entries are due by May 21. To eenter, click here. A1 MEWP PROJECT OF THE YEAR
This award will be presented to the member company where a MEWP was utilized to:
- raise the overall level of safety on a project,
- contribute to the overall success of the project, or
- complete a dynamic installation in a new or innovative way.
C1 SAIA COMMERCIAL COLLABORATIVE PROJECT OF THE YEAR
This award will be presented to a group of member companies that collaborated with one another on a single jobsite on a commercial project.
C2 SAIA INDUSTRIAL COLLABORATIVE PROJECT OF THE YEAR
This award will be presented to a group of member companies that collaborated with one another on a single jobsite on an industrial project.
H1 MAST DRIVEN HOISTS AND PLATFORMS PROJECT OF THE YEAR
This award will be presented to the member company where mast driven hoists and platforms were utilized to:
- raise the overall level of safety on a project,
- contribute to the overall success of the project, or
- complete a dynamic installation in a new or innovative way.
I1 INNOVATION AWARD
This award will be presented to the member company that demonstrated a new or innovative way to utilize an existing product on a project, or delivered a new product to the field.
Submissions should detail why the product is considered innovative and what improvements it offers over previous models.
S1 SUSPENDED ACCESS PROJECT OF THE YEAR
This award will be presented to the member company where suspended access was utilized to:
- raise the overall level of safety on a project,
- contribute to the overall success of the project, or
- complete a dynamic installation in a new or innovative way.

S2 SUPPORTED SCAFFOLD PROJECT OF THE YEAR
This award will be presented to the member company where supported scaffolding was utilized to:
- raise the overall level of safety on a project,
- contribute to the overall success of the project, or
- complete a dynamic installation in a new or innovative way.
S3 SHORING PROJECT OF THE YEAR
This award will be presented to the member company where shoring was utilized to:
raise the overall level of safety on a project,
contribute to the overall success of the project, or
complete a dynamic installation in a new or innovative way.
