All Choice Rentals acquires in Canada

Canada-based rental company All Choice Rentals has acquired Select Equipment Rentals. No financial details of the deal have been disclosed.

Select Equipment Rentals provides a range of general constuction equipment across the region of Alberta, where it has five branches and has operated since 1997.

Its fleet includes compressors, compaction equipment, lighting towers, work platforms and power generation equipment. 

Describing the acquisition as a “major move”, All Choice said it enables the company to expand in Alberta and deliver “greater value to customers and partners across Alberta and Western Canada.”

Both companies will continue to operate seperately to ensure “minimal disruption for existing customers of Select”, All Choice added, with a transition plan to be implemented in the future.

Blake Menning, vice president, All Choice Rentals, said on a post on LinkedIn that the deal ensures the company is “one of the largest independent rental providers in Western Canada.”

Menning added, “We’re thrilled to welcome Select Equipment Rentals into the All Choice Rentals family. This acquisition unlocks new opportunities for All Choice Rentals through an expanded fleet of equipment and enhanced service capabilities.

“With nine branch locations across Alberta, we now have the capacity to service approximately 85% of Alberta within 2 hours of a phone call, something very few rental companies are able to do.”
