Innovative formwork used on New York development

Ulma, a concrete formwork and scaffolding company, is providing the formwork, shoring and climbing infrastructure for 30 Front Street, a residential development in, New York, US.
The 270-foot-tall development, Olympia Dumbo, is designed by Hill West Architects and developed by Fortis Property Group, is around 177,900 sq ft and will span residential units including penthouses and full-floor units.
The Spain-based company says that the floor layout is currently being done with their Aluminium Modular Formwork CC-4. Due to the height of the building, Ulma recommended Megaframe as the shoring solution due to the high-shoring heights.
Ulma chose their Timber Beam Slab Formwork Enkoflex to accommodate the distinctive curvature of the building - from the cellar to the sixth floor, the slab is curved with a big diameter.
The great advantage of Enkoflex said to be its versatility and adjustability to irregular geometries, says the company.
