Manitou Asia adds Vietnam dealer for Gehl products

Manitou Group – a French manufacturer specialising in forklifts, telehandlers and heavy construction equipment – said its Manitou Asia arm reached a dealership agreement with Tuyet Nga Company (TNC) in Vietnam to distribute US-made Gehl Compact Equipment.

Manitou Group said the move represented the firm’s commitment to expanding its presence of earthmoving equipment in the region.

“Customers in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang will now have access to Gehl’s… backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders, track loaders, and industry-leading support,” said Manitou Group.

Mdm Dzung Tran, president of TNC, said, “Gehl’s commitment to producing high-quality equipment that meets the most stringent technical standards and delivers outstanding durability aligns perfectly with TNC’s dedication to supplying the best solutions to customers’ needs and dominating the Vietnamese market.”

He added that TNC aims to leverage Gehl’s technology to “boost efficiency, drive sustainable development and contribute significantly to Vietnam’s infrastructure projects.”

Bernd Freudenmann, vice president of Asia-Pacific for Manitou Group, said Vietnam and TNC were tactical choices.

“This partnership is a very strategic element in our expansion strategy in Vietnam,” he confirmed. “Tuyet Nga’s outstanding reputation and extensive network in the construction sector make them an ideal partner.”
