It is with great sadness that we report Dwight Alan Allenbaugh, owner of A-1 Scaffold Mfg. died December 22, 2024 at his home.
Allenbaugh was born July 3, 1958 in Norwalk, CA, the son of John “Dale” and Marcy (Feaster) Allenbaugh. In 1976, he graduated from Bellflower High School and later earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business from California PolyTechnic University in Pomona, California in 1980. He married Connie DeFever, and to this union were born four children. In 1997, he married Dereama Barnes.

Allenbaugh was smart, talented, kind, creative, and a good Samaritan at heart. He was very generous, supporting numerous non-profit and charity organizations, and he taught Sunday School at Celebration Community Church. He loved photography, reading novels, scuba diving, traveling, golfing, and meeting people, which formed lifelong friendships. His escape from work was riding his Harley Davidson, taking numerous motorcycle trips with Dereama, and he enjoyed waking up to her practicing her instruments.
