Vincent Albasini joins CGTE as CEO

Italian rental company CGTE (formerly CGT Edilizia) has appointed Vincent Albasini as its new CEO.

Albasini, who succeeds Massimo Rossi Mossuti, joins the company after 19 years with Swiss rental company Avesco Rent.

He spent the last 19 years with the company, holding a number of senior roles, including CEO and Group CEO of rental.

In his new role, he will lead CGTE and the other Rental Service companies of the TESYA Group, including Alayan Rental and Emerent, operating in Spain and Portugal.

The company described the appointment of Albasini, which was announced last week, as a “major change at the top” and said that it marks an “important step towards the future of the company.”

The company added that the appointment is part of a Group strategy to enhance the integration between the companies and expand its presence in the international market.

CGTE said, “Albasini’s appointment reflects the company’s desire to continue its growth path, focusing on entering new markets and consolidating its leadership in the rental sector.

“With Albasini at the helm, CGTE intends to further strengthen its competitive position, enhancing the synergies between the different companies of the TESYA Group and developing new business opportunities.”

Rossi Mossuti will retain the position of CEO, while also assuming the position of vice president of all Rental Service companies.

At the same time, Cornelia Kuratli has replaced Albasini as CEO of Avesco Rent Switzerland.
